Doc Brown loves to help give back to the community whenever time permits in his time-traveling schedule.  Doc especially enjoyed being part of Team Mateo Family Fun Day at Thousand Hills Ranch in Pismo Beach on Saturday, November 14th.

Doc brought his DeLorean Time Machine by to a reunion event of the sisters of Zeta Tau Alpha - Eta Psi Chapter, held at the Cal Poly Sage Restaurant.  A simple little drive-by visit brought back college memories for many. #ZTASLO #ZTA

Doc had the pleasure of surprising a special groom, Daniel, on his wedding day.  We were contacted by his soon to be wife, Melissa, many months ago who wanted to make it a special day for him.  We showed up while they were outside preparing to leave for their Morro Bay beach side ceremony and came rolling up playing...of course ... "Power of Love" by Huey Lewis!  The groom was so surprised and elated that he was being delivered to his own wedding in a DeLorean Time Machine.  Congratulations to both of you to a wonderful life!!  See you in the Future...

Oakley Sunglasses rented the DeLorean Time Machine for their annual sales meeting in Huntington Beach.  Not only did Doc show up with the Time Machine, Doc brought down 11 vintage and classic Arcade Games.  Some of the games we brought were Ms. Pac Man, Dig Dug, Donkey Kong, Galaga, Stargate, Turbo Outrun, Robotron, Championship Sprint and Gorf.  It was a fun night of all things 80's.  I mean you cant have an 80's party without having a DeLorean Time Machine and classic Arcade Games. 

Doc was at it again and spent some time donating to a good cause to help the PTA for Ocean View Elementary School at the Oceano Community Center on Nov. 7.  This Totally 80's party was legendary!!  So many great costumes and it was all to raise money for a great cause. 

​SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA – Doc Brown’s Time Machine Rental is partnering with Team Mateo to raise funds for the cancer treatment of four-year-old Central Coast resident, Mateo “The Beast” Cota at FAMILY FUN DAY – A Day At The Ranch, presented by Team Mateo on Saturday, November 14th from 11:00am – 4:00pm at the Thousand Hills Ranch in Pismo Beach. The FAMILY FUN DAY will feature carnival games, a BBQ and live music. BBQ tickets are $15 of Adults and $10 for Kids Ages 10 & Under.

Mateo “The Beast” Cota is the youngest of three boys and is the son of Ed and Erika Cota and was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia two years ago. Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia is a cancer of the white blood cells, where immature white blood cells are over-produced and multiply in the bone marrow, inhibiting production of normal cells. It is most commonly diagnosed in children, ages 2-5. Funds raised at the event will help the family pay for basic family needs including medical co pays, travel costs to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, prescriptions, and time missed from work.

“Bringing out the Time Machine for the FAMILY FUN DAY is a natural fit for the fundraiser. Parents and kids alike enjoy seeing the car and taking pictures in it,” according to Doc Brown’s spokesperson, Nicolette Muñoz. “The Doc Brown Time Machine Rental family is a big supporter of Mateo and the Cota Family,” said Muñoz, “Mateo is a fighter and such a great kid. We all want to see him get well and look forward to him completing his treatment at the end of next year.” Attendees will have the opportunity to contribute via a special “flux-capacitor” donation box.

Representatives from BE THE MATCH will be at FAMILY FUN DAY to collect swabs for possible bone marrow matches. “We collected 44 swabs at our last event,” said Erika Cota, “we hope to break that record at this event.
